Biden Calls Texas Anti-Abortion Law Unconstitutional, Vows to Fight It

Unlike previous attempts to ban abortion in some states, the latest law empowers regular citizens, instead of authorities, to sue people involved in abortion in exchange for a reword if the case is won in court. The US Supreme Court has not struck down the legislation as unconstitutional so far.

US President Joe Biden has harshly criticised the recently passed anti-abortion Texas Senate Bill 8, calling it unconstitutional. The Democrat POTUS vowed to challenge it and fight for the preservation of abortion rights granted by the landmark Roe v. Wade case.

“The Texas law will significantly impair women’s access to the health care they need, particularly for communities of color and individuals with low incomes. And, outrageously, it deputizes private citizens to bring lawsuits against anyone who they believe has helped another person get an abortion”, Biden said.

Bill 8 went into effect today with the US Supreme Court remaining silent so far on complaints from abortion providers and pro-abortion rights activists, despite a history of striking down similar pieces of state legislation in the past. The Texas law effectively bans abortions of foetuses with a detectable heartbeat. This is usually detected six weeks after conception.

However, abortion rights advocates insist that most women are not even aware they are pregnant at this stage and won’t’ have time to make a decision to have an abortion. In addition, the law does not make exceptions for victims of rape and incest.

It is unclear whether the law will stand, since it is drastically different from the abortion bans passed in 13 other US states that have been repealed by the US Supreme Court since the Roe v. Wade case legalised abortions in 1973. The Texas Bill 8 deputised ordinary citizens with upholding the ban on post-six-week abortions instead of the state authorities. Under the new law, any Texan can file a suit against a woman having an abortion, as well as anyone helping her with this matter – even the driver who took her to the clinic. If the case succeeds, the accuser can get a reward of $10,000 and more.

Texan women still have the option of travelling to other states to have an abortion or ordering special abortion pills via mail, but state lawmakers are already preparing to prohibit the latter too.

Biden Botches Meeting with Pregnant Widow of Dead Marine, Talks About Son Beau In 2-Minute Convo

Joe Biden met with the families of the fallen U.S. military members over the weekend, and the meeting was reportedly an unsurprising disaster.

13 U.S. service members were killed last Thursday in a suicide blast at the Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul due to Biden’s catastrophic handling of the military withdrawal of Afghanistan.

Biden’s meeting with the pregnant widow of 20-year-old Marine Rylee McCollum went particularly bad.

Jiennah McCollum was the only member of the McCollum family who would even see Biden – as they view him as responsible for Rylee’s death – and she said the meeting was disappointing.

Biden Admin Refuses To Take Responsibility For Inflation

White House press secretary Jen Psaki revealed to reporters on Thursday that the White House is “vigilant” in monitoring inflation signals but maintained that President Joe Biden’s infrastructure proposals will help reduce rising prices.

Psaki, questioned about comments made by Federal Reserve Board Chairman Jerome Powell, mentioned that “experts believe” that “most of the price increases are expected to be temporary through the consequences of restarting an economy shut down during the pandemic.”

Joe Biden Bows to Force Majeure Kneeling before Israelis is latest indication of who rules in Washington

If one were only limited to viewing or reading the US mainstream media the story of how President Joe Biden went down on his knees to honor two visiting Israelis would never have surfaced. Fortunately, the story did make considerable waves in both the Israeli and the alternative media, though not enough to convince the faceless editors at CBS news and elsewhere to run with it. The kneeling incident reportedly took place while Biden was meeting in the White House with soon-to-be retired Israeli president Reuven Rivlin. Rivlin was doing something like his victory lap, having presumably completed his term of office without being charged with corruption, which is what the Jewish state’s leaders have traditionally been noted for.

In fact, the good news re Israeli corruption is that recent ex-prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who has been dogged by corruption charges for years, no longer can claim immunity and just might now have to pay the piper and go to jail together with his lovely wife Sara. The thought of Netanyahu in the slammer brings tears of joy to my eyes, not only because he is dishonest and a thief, but also because he was part of an Israeli spy ring that obtained nuclear triggers to construct bombs, which was operating against the United States back when he lived here in the 1970s-80s. But that is another story for another day.

Rivlin was in town to say goodbye but also to discuss Iran. The Israeli view on Iran is that the Mullahs have a secret nuclear weapons program so any kind of agreement with them allows work to proceed clandestinely. Israel believes that allowing the United States to re-enter into 2015’s Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) would take the heat off Iran and would virtually guarantee that the Islamic Republic would wind up with a nuclear weapon, which would threaten the entire region, most particularly Israel and the Saudis. This line is, of course, being echoed by Israel’s many friends in the United States.

The other view, supported by both the United Nations and the US intelligence community, is that it is Israel rather than Iran that has a secret nuclear arsenal which is not subject to international inspection. Everyone but Israel believes that Iran, for its part, long ago gave up an exploratory program that might plausibly have led to a weapon. The only so-called evidence challenging that view consists of information on a lap top that was fortuitously discovered by some opponents of the Iranian government which had previously been fabricated by Israeli intelligence and placed so as to be found and exposed.

Biden, completely predictably, assured the Israeli president that his personal commitment to the Jewish state is “iron-clad.” No doubt Rivlin for his part passed the Israeli view regarding Iran on to Biden during their meeting, though there has been no subsequent document describing in any detail that aspect of their discussion. The White House press release described their interaction as follows: “President Biden conveyed his unwavering support for Israel’s security and his commitment to deepening the cooperation between the two countries across all fields. The leaders discussed the many challenges facing the region, including the threat posed by Iran. The President emphasized that under his administration, Iran will never get a nuclear weapon. He also assured President Rivlin that the United States remains determined to counter Iran’s malign activity and support for terrorist proxies, which have destabilizing consequences for the region.”

In reality, of course, it is Israel and the US that are nuclear armed and have been supporting terrorist proxies in the Middle East, but we’ll give that one a pass. Rivlin had with him his 45 year-old chief of staff, a Haredi Orthodox Israeli woman named Rivka Ravitz who has borne twelve children. Many Orthodox Jews apparently believe that procreating up to maximum capacity is a requirement that comes straight from Yahweh. Joe responded with something like delight at the report of the “cheaper by the dozen” offspring and he got so excited that he went down on one knee to honor the lady and, presumably, her boss. And to make matters worse, a photographer who accompanied the Israeli entourage was in the room with the beaming trio and was able to take a picture of Joe on one bended knee, though it also has been claimed that he might have gone down on both knees which raises the question how he managed to get back up at his age. Are Secret Service Agent required to lift up kneeling presidents?

So here we have the president of the United States down on one or two knees in front of two former Israeli government officials. Doesn’t look good, does it? But it could be a metaphor for what the entire United States government and Establishment choose to do when it comes to Israel. Too bad there is no recording of what Honest Joe was saying as he was going down. Was it the usual inarticulate mumble or something acknowledging the power and majesty of his visitors? As noted above, avowed Zionist Joe reportedly said either before or maybe after his prostration that the commitment to Israel is “iron-clad,” which one might suggest to be the unofficial motto of the United States Congress.

The White House won’t admit Cubans oppose communism because the Biden regime LOVES Communism

The Communist regime in Cuba is currently facing the most unrest from its citizens in decades, and that’s a big deal because the regime doesn’t take kindly to dissent.

Cubans sick and tired of more than 62 years of tyranny and poverty after being promised ‘utopia’ by the ‘great revolutionary’ Fidel Castro have taken to the streets, some even waving American flags right along with banners of their own country. They are angry, they are poor and they are more than a little disillusioned.

Frankly, this is a moment that is rare in human history: A people so sick of authoritarianism they are willing to risk it all to be free — just like our founding fathers (and, yes, the ‘founding mothers’ who stood by their men). It’s a moment born for American support; it screams out for recognition from the U.S. government, the supposed bastion and exporter of individual freedom and liberty.

And yet, we’ve heard mostly tepid, boilerplate responses from the leftists who run the Biden regime, and we can guess why: The Marxists running the show behind the scenes are of like mind with the Castro-founded government of Cuba. That, and the Biden leftists are scared witless that a horde of Cuban refugees and migrants flooding into America like those from Central America will trend towards the only major liberty-minded party left in America — the GOP.

Breitbart News has more:

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki declined to blame communism for the current unrest in Cuba on Wednesday, when asked by Peter Doocy of Fox News whether communism was the reason that people might want to flee Cuba for the U.S.

The context of Doocy’s question was a previous query about a statement Tuesday by Department of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas that Cubans and Haitians should not come to the U.S. by sea — though the administration is making illegal entry easier through the southern land border with Mexico.

“As the administration tries to figure out the ‘root causes’ of migration to the country, don’t we know that the reason people want to leave Cuba is because they don’t like Communism?” Doocy asked.

“And so as you’re trying to figure out, like, what the processes are for these people who want to leave Cuba, is…” he continued, as Psaki interjected.

“Well, I’m not sure what your question is, why are people leaving Cuba, or what is the process for them getting here? I can explain either of them, but you tell me,” she said.

“Sure, yeah. Do you think people are leaving Cuba because they don’t like Communism?” Doocy clarified.

Psaki just couldn’t say the word, however.

He’s No Reagan: European Leader Slams Biden’s ‘Cascade Of Errors’

President Joe Biden’s team has committed “a cascade of errors” in the lead-up to his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to the top Polish diplomat, who cried that Warsaw only learned “from the media” that the U.S. would suspend sanctions on a primary Russian pipeline project.

“Our American allies did not find time to consult with the region most exposed to the consequences of that decision,” Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau said Friday.

Rau was critical of Biden’s relationship with Central and Eastern European allies, just as the new administration wishes to make a show of transatlantic unity after former President Donald Trump’s tempestuous tenure on Biden’s first trip overseas. Though, the Putin encounter looming at the end of that diplomatic tour casts a shadow over the alliance, as Biden’s outreach to the western European capitals that fought most with Trump includes policy

Biden’s Stimulus Springs Leaks as March Trade Deficit Explodes to Highest Level Ever

The direct stimulus payments that hit bank accounts across the U.S. in March increased incomes by a record amount—but much of it found its way into foreign coffers, pushing the trade deficit up to the highest level on record.

The U.S. international trade deficit rose to a record $74.4 billion in March with more imports on the books than exports, the Commerce Department said in a report Tuesday.
Exports of goods and services through international trade for the month rose 6.6 percent to $200 billion compared to imports of goods and services (up 6.3 percent to $274.5 billion), the report said.

The reasons so much of the stimulus leaked out of the U.S. economy are straightforward. U.S. production was expanding but still restrained by pandemic restrictions in March and low tariff barriers mean that increases in consumer spending typically translate into higher imports. It’s likely that other countries where domestic demand is depressed by the pandemic are off-loading goods and services to the U.S.
