WATCH: Matthew McConaughey Says He Won’t Run for Texas Governor

After teasing a potential political campaign for nearly a year, actor Matthew McConnaughey has announced he will not be running to become the next governor of Texas.

In a video posted to his Instagram on Sunday, McConnaughey said that jumping into politics is a “path that I’m choosing not to take at this moment,” while imparting a message about the importance of service.

“As a simple kid born in the little town of Uvalde, Texas, it never occurred to me that I would one day be considered for political leadership,” McConaughey said. “It’s a humbling and inspiring path to ponder. It is also a path that I’m choosing not to take at this moment.”

Video: 8-Year-Old Girl Tells School Board They Should All Go To Jail For Forcing Masks On Kids

They suspended her almost 40 times and told her she’s going to fail 2nd grade

An eight-year-old girl in Tampa Bay defiantly told her school board that they should go to jail for forcing her and other kids to wear masks against their will, after they suspended her close to forty times for disobeying the orders.

Fiona Lashells was filmed reading a speech in front of the board in Florida, pointing out how masks don’t prevent the spread of viruses effectively because they become dirty and prompt people to constantly touch their faces.

“Just because I get suspended for not wearing a mask isn’t going to change my mind. You can keep suspending me, I still have the right not to wear a mask,” the young girl declared.

“It is not fair that I am getting punished because you guys, the school board are not following the law,” the second grader continued, adding “I’m still going to stand up for what I believe in.”

“I hope you all go to jail for doing this to me,” Fiona urged, adding that her family is proud of her and finishing with “your rules suck.”

As noted by Fox 8 News last week, the school has repeatedly suspended Fiona for not wearing the mask in classes, and finally told her parents that she is going to fail because she has missed so much school.

Video: Race Baiter MSNBC Host And Guest Say Rittenhouse’s Trial Is “White Privilege on Steroids”

Describes Rittenhouse’s emotional break down as “the greatest performance of [his] life.”

Perpetual race baiter and segregationist MSNBC host Joy Reid and her guest spent their entire show crying ‘white supremacy’ again Wednesday describing Kyle Rittenhouse’s trial in Kenosha, Wisconsin as “white privilege on steroids.”

Referring to Rittenhouse’s emotional break down as “the greatest performance of [his] life,” Reid and legal analyst Paul Butler implied that the jury and the judge are biased in Rittenhouse’s favour and “steering the jury towards an acquittal” because they are white.

Reid added that the trial is proof of “why critical race theory exists” and is necessary in America.

“If you want to know why critical race theory exists — the actual law school theory that emphasizes that supposedly colorblind laws in America often still have racially discriminatory outcomes, then look no further than the trial of Kyle Rittenhouse,” Reid declared.

That is somewhat strange because she and others at MSNBC have repeatedly suggested that CRT doesn’t exist and is being used as a ‘boogeyman’ by white supremacists (Republicans) to win votes.

Reid also falsely claimed that judge Bruce Schroeder has barred evidence and has been “flashing white supremacists signs” in the trial (by which she means the ‘OK’ sign).

The pair compared the trial to that of George Zimmerman, who was acquitted of murdering Trayvon Martin in 2013, and expressed sympathy for those Rittenhouse says he shot in self defense.

Butler also proclaimed that Rittenhouse “was well prepared by his defense attorneys to disrupt his image as a trigger happy vigilante who went on a shooting rampage at a Black Lives Matter protest.”
