Greyhound Canada is shutting down all of its remaining bus routes in Canada, permanently.
The bus company says all of its remaining routes will cease operations as of midnight Thursday.
The iconic bus carrier pulled out of Western Canada in 2018.
It then put its remaining routes in Ontario and Quebec on pause when COVID-19 hit in 2020, but now it is pulling out of domestic Canadian service permanently.
“A full year without revenue has unfortunately made it impossible to continue operations,” spokesperson Stuart Kendrick said. “We deeply regret the impact this has on our staff and our customers, as well as the communities we have had the privilege of serving for many years.”
Greyhound Canada has been in operation in one form or another for nearly a century. The company says anyone with a ticket booked can get a refund up until the end of June.

Charles Hoffe has been a medical doctor for 28 years in the small, rural town of Lytton in British Columbia, Canada. The town is comprised of many indigenous groups and the “First Nations.”
When Dr. Hoffe was given 900 doses of the Moderna experimental COVID-19 injections, he administered the doses through the Lytton Medical Clinic to those who wanted them.
He chose not to inject himself.
Dr. Hoffe reports that the result of injecting 900 people among the indigenous First Nations community was that 2 people went into anaphylactic shock, one person died, and several others have suffered what appear to be permanent disabilities. He relates how one of his patients is in so much pain now, that she prefers death to life.
By contrast, no one in the community died or became permanently disabled due to the COVID-19 virus for the past year.
Dr. Hoffe reported these adverse reactions by email to the medical personnel in his community who were responsible for the roll-out of the Moderna shots, which included pharmacists, nurses, and doctors in his area, a total of about 18 people he says.
His email expressed grave concern over the side effects he was seeing, and he asked if perhaps they should pause the injections for a while.
He reports that within 48 hours he received a very stern rebuke from his superiors at the Interior Health Authority accusing him of causing “vaccine hesitancy” and that they were going to report him to BC College of Physicians and Surgeons.
They forbade him from saying anything negative about the Moderna shots by issuing a gag order against him.
Dr. Hoffe explains that this is a method of intimidation that is being used against other doctors who have become too afraid to speak out, because the College of Physicians and Surgeons has great authority to shut down doctors’ careers, or heavily fine them.
The leader of one of Canada’s provinces has put his American political counterparts to shame by actually stepping up and taking responsibility for getting a lot about the COVID-19 pandemic response wrong and harming people in the process, to include the enduring, draconian lockdowns that destroyed economies and livelihoods for no good reason.
Doug Ford, the prime minister of Ontario, who is currently in self-imposed quarantine at his late mother’s house in Etobicoke after a staffer tested positive for the virus, told a news conference he wanted to “address the events of this past week” following the implementation of new measures his government put in place following “extremely troubling modeling,” the CBC reported.
The objective was to curb mobility, Ford said, but it wasn’t the right decision.
“We moved too fast,” he said, adding that some of the implemented measures went too far in curbing Canadians’ rights and freedoms.

(Natural News) Desperate to transform his country into a clone of communist China, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has introduced new legislation that would censor the Canadian internet and make everything on it politically correct.
Citing the threat of “hate speech” and “hurtful” language, particularly against politicians like himself, Trudeau wants to force all social media platforms, including Facebook and Twitter, to start immediately removing all content that someone on the left might feel is “offensive.”
“Once a publication is flagged, it will have to be taken down within 24 hours of having it being flagged,” confirmed Canadian Heritage Minister Steven Guilbeault, who announced the plan during a recent videoconference with the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs.
A new regulatory body would be established on the taxpayers’ dime to police all internet content, Guilbeault added. Tech giants that refuse or fail to comply would incur financial penalties that would have to be paid to Trudeau and his cronies.
“My job is to ensure the safety and security of the Canadian population. That’s what I’m here for,” Guilbeault stated during the bill’s official unveiling.
The Canadian province of British Columbia is so overwhelmed by the latest wave of the pandemic, they will be setting up checkpoints to ensure nobody moves from their local areas. The provincial prime minister John Horgan made the surprise announcement of what he called a “circuit breaker” plan to come in on Friday, angering opposition leaders who had not been forewarned.
Shimon Koffler Fogel, president and CEO of the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs, said the adoption of the resolution “highlights a toxic obsession with Israel to the serious detriment of the party.”
Members of Canada’s progressive New Democratic Party (NDP) have voted overwhelmingly to endorse a boycott against Israel during its recent party convention.
At its virtual party convention on April 10, the NDP—the third-largest party in Canada—adopted the resolution “Justice and Peace in Israel-Palestine” that calls for a boycott of products emanating from Israeli settlements, as well as an arms embargo on Israel.
“The adoption of this motion today was a result of a groundswell of support from the grassroots membership,” said Amy Kishek, one of the lead organizers for the resolution at the NDP convention. “Not only is this position hugely popular with the NDP membership, but it is something that is supported by the vast majority of the Canadian labor movement as well as the Canadian population at large.”
Canada’s system of mandatory quarantine hotels for those entering the country from abroad are now in question, after a series of endless, chaotic setbacks including food shortages and even alleged sexual assaults.
Some of those experiencing the quarantines, which are mandatory for all incoming travelers for a minimum of three days and at a cost of up to Can$2,000, have documented the problems on social media.
One video, posted to Twitter by Raymond Truesdale, showed frustrated Canadians at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel in Toronto arguing with hotel staff after they allegedly ran out of food and bottled water.
“We are not animals!” one angry woman shouted, while a man claimed to have been waiting in line for “more than two hours” for food.

A pastor in Calgary says his wife was put in mandatory quarantine in Canada after her flight arrived in Calgary. Officials told Nikki Mathis she would be required to quarantine for two weeks. And authorities will not disclose where they took the woman.
Shortly after the story broke that Nikki Mathis was transported under police surveillance to an undisclosed location for quarantine from Calgary Airport (despite having tested negative prior to her flight), the Justice Centre announced its intent to submit a letter to the federal government, calling this line of action unconstitutional and demanding her immediate release.
