It is time to act to ensure the Abraham Accords fulfill their potential, Jared Kushner, former senior adviser to US president Donald Trump, said Monday at a ceremony in the Knesset.

“What we created is a new paradigm in the region,” he said. “It can have many different outcomes. It is imperative on all of us to set high expectations for what we want the Abraham Accords to achieve.”

Knesset launches Abraham Accords caucus, with Gantz claiming credit for deals

Lapid, Gantz say new government seeks peace with Palestinians and other Arab states; Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump attend and meet with Netanyahu, won’t be meeting Bennett

The Knesset on Monday launched a new caucus dedicated to the Abraham Accords, the US-brokered normalization deals with Arab countries reached one year ago.

Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump were in attendance alongside former prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, representing the since-ousted US and Israeli leaderships that signed the normalization agreements between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco and Sudan.

But Defense Minister Benny Gantz — who also held that position during the previous Netanyahu-led government — touted the role of his own Blue and White party in reaching the accords, which were announced alongside the scrapping of plans to annex large swaths of the West Bank.

“The fact that we prevented a unilateral annexation enabled the Abraham Accords to solidify and move ahead,” Gantz said, in an apparent swipe at Netanyahu, the current opposition leader.

“I am happy these peace agreements were signed and I am sure they will be broadened and drive change in the Middle East, because this is peace between peoples,” he said, adding that Jerusalem “is acting to expand the agreements and even add more agreements.”

Another Abraham Accords Middle East Peace Deal: Morocco Latest to Establish Ties with the Jews and Israel

FROM BREITBART NEWS: President Donald Trump congratulated the two parties in a tweet: “Another HISTORIC breakthrough today! Our two GREAT friends Israel and the Kingdom of Morocco have agreed to full diplomatic relations – a massive breakthrough for peace in the Middle East!”

Less than a year ago, President Trump launched his Middle East peace plan, which departed from previous efforts in that it sought agreements between Israel and Arab states without giving a veto to the Palestinians.

Earlier U.S. administrations had believed, incorrectly, that such an approach was impossible. Then-Secretary of State John Kerry said in 2016 that no separate peace between Israel and Arab states was possible:

MOROCCO JOINS THE UAE, BAHRAIN, AND SUDAN AS THE FOURTH MIDDLE EAST MUSLIM NATION TO SIGN UP WITH ISRAEL IN THE PRE-DANIEL 9:27 ABRAHAM ACCORDS

President Donald Trump congratulated the two parties in a tweet: “Another HISTORIC breakthrough today! Our two GREAT friends Israel and the Kingdom of Morocco have agreed to full diplomatic relations – a massive breakthrough for peace in the Middle East!” Less than a year ago, President Trump launched his Abraham Accords Middle East peace plan, which departed from previous efforts in that it sought agreements between Israel and Arab states without giving a veto to the Palestinians.

For those of you, like myself, who are patiently scanning the eastern skies in anticipation of taking off on Flight #777 on Titus213 Airlines, I have good news for you. We are not only getting giant steps closer to departing, things are heating up so much that Spring 2021 is starting to look like the time when that might be taking place. Not setting a date, not predicting anything, just looking out my window and talking. Just ask King Solomon how he felt about it, the answer might surprise you.

My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away. For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land; The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.” Song Of Solomon 2:10-13 (KJB)

Putting the wonderful thought of the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church aside for just a moment, let’s focus on the rapidly-expanding Abraham Accords Middle East Peace Treaty, the necessary precursor to the Daniel 9:27 Covenant with Death and Hell the Jews will agree to sooner rather than later. As we have been telling you, every major Muslim nation that rings around the Palestinians are going to sign the Abraham Accords, thus putting overwhelming pressure on the Palies to sign it as well. What will Israel receive in exchange for such open-minded, forward thinking? Not much, just the rebuilt Jewish Temple that Antichrist will inhabit, that’s all.

United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres has thrown his support behind calls for an international peace conference under the auspices of his organization and the Quartet, which would resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict based on the pre-1967 lines.

“The long-agreed goal is clear: To end the occupation and realize a two-state solution on the basis of the pre-1967 borders, in line with international law, relevant United Nations resolutions, and bilateral agreements, with Jerusalem as the capital of both states,” Guterres said in New York on Thursday.

The United Arab Emirates ambassador to the US said Monday that the normalization agreement his country signed with Israel in September was primarily “about preventing annexation.”

Yousef al-Otaiba said that while many had sought to cast the agreement in different lights to suit their own narrative, for him it was mostly about stopping Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s controversial plan to extend Israeli sovereignty to large parts of the West Bank.

“When the Abraham Accords were announced, everybody… looked at [it] through their own lens,” said al-Otaiba, explaining that both the Palestinians and the Iranians thought the normalization deal was meant as a message to their respective governments.

WASHINGTON — The Biden administration has put a temporary hold on several major foreign arms sales initiated by former US president Donald Trump, including the deal to provide 50 F-35 advanced fighter jets to the United Arab Emirates, which was fast-tracked by Washington after Abu Dhabi agreed to normalize relations with Israel.

In addition to the massive $23 billion transfer of stealth F-35 fighters to the United Arab Emirates, another deal being paused is the planned major sale of munitions to Saudi Arabia. Both sales were harshly criticized by Democrats in Congress.

The Abraham Accords domino effect will lead to more peace deals

DIPLOMATIC AFFAIRS: It was hard to predict in January 2020 that, by the end of the year, Israel would have relations with four more Arab countries.

We were all so innocent when 2020 began. In January 2020, people around the world had not yet heard of the COVID-19 virus, and those who had – outside of Wuhan, China – didn’t know it would turn so many lives upside down.

In Israel, January’s news cycle in some ways looked the same as today’s – we were heading toward a March election then, too – but the diplomatic agenda was drastically different. There were three big stories: Naama Issachar, the Israeli woman in a Russian prison for alleged drug smuggling; preparations for the Fifth World Holocaust Forum, which brought leaders of 49 countries to Israel; and speculation about the Trump peace plan, which came out at the end of the month.
